I didn’t know I was looking for you.
My trust was destroyed.
My love was long gone.
I was sinking beneath troubled waters.
You found me broken,
came to the rescue,
pulled me out,
and wove a spell
to mend every shattered piece.
Little by little,
you rearranged the stars.
You carried every weight:
no tears too heavy,
no feelings too strong,
no laughter too loud,
no love ever too much.
You love
with your heart
wide open.
And I asked if you were a magician
And you said, in a way, you were
You were friends with the cosmos,
and we are all made of stardust,
But that you and me were made of the same star
that it was written in your travel map, that you’d take care of me, remind me what it means to be alive.
